Specification Manager Flat Roofing

My client is currently looking for an experienced Specification Manager to work the London region and surrounding areas. The role with a market leading specialist in Flat Roofing systems. We are offering you fantastic opportunity within a Market Leading Construction Merchant who operates all over Europe. The business specialise in single ply flat roofing membranes including EPDM, TPO, Liquid applied waterproofing and associated products.

The Role:

As Specification Manager, you will need to be a proactive Salesman with self-starter’s attitude and the ability to drive sales. You will be responsibility for stimulating sales of Flat Roofing Systems to the Architects, Specifiers, Main Contracts and Sub Contractors on a project lead basis.   

The role requires someone with the ability to develop existing accounts and winning new business. Also someone who can understand the technical element of the role and be able to survey roofs, write condition reports and technical specifications.

Technical Experience of roofing industry is essential.

This is a field based role so easy acess to the London Area will be required.

What we are looking for:

You will have previous experience in a similar Area Sales role with outstanding client management skills. You need to be self-­ motivated, enthusiastic and organised. You will also have good numerical skills and IT skills. You will also have experience working in a roofing or a similar background and knowledge of the products we sell. You will have to be proactive and a strong problem solver to succeed and have the ability to do the admin aspect of the role. Resilience and determination are key to develop to the next level.
