Finance Assistant – 6 Month Contract – ASAP START.
Billington Bioenergy is the UK’s leading wood pellet specialist. We’ve been providing wood pellets for heating to homes and businesses, along with outstanding value for money since 2007. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to start on a 6 month contract with a view to it being extended and hopefully made in to a permanent position later on.
Tasks to be undertaken on the role:
Purchase ledger – inputting of invoices and ensuring authorisation levels, POs issued etc.
Sales Ledger/Credit control admin – collecting payments for order on hold, dealing with invoice queries in a timely and accurate manner. Sending invoices and statements via Spindle (electronic email device.)
Bank/cash book – updating cash book and balancing against bank statement on a daily basis.
Credit cards/Expenses – reconciling credit card statements against expenses.
Office admin – General adhoc duties including post, ordering office stationery and sending drivers stamped addressed envelopes every couple of months.
Any other ad hoc duties as they arise.
This is a varied role that has been put together to assist the Finance Team and we would need the candidates to be confident, capable of working without supervision, must have high levels of accuracy and MUST have experience on SAGE 200. We will not consider anyone without Sage 200 experience.
