SALARY & BENEFITS: Pay Scale H7 (GBP23,398-GBP25,951) pro rata
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week - Term time only
THE COMPANY: Our client is a successful 11-19 mixed converter Academy with 1350 students on roll. We are now seeking an Attendance Officer for the school in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.
THE ROLE: The Attendance Officer is a key role within the School's pastoral team.
Key Responsibilities for the Attendance Officer role in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire:
• To support the work of the heads of year by collecting, maintaining, monitoring and reporting data on attendance and punctuality
• Intervening with individual students and groups of students in order to drive up attendance across the school
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Essential criteria for the Attendance Officer role in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire:
• Grade C or above in GCSE English or Maths or equivalent
• Previous experience of improving the attendance of young people
• Demonstrate a knowledge of attendance guidelines and legal framework
