This IT Support Technician role is for an IT business; based in Market Weighton near York; who are experts in utilising new and emerging technologies and applying them to all sizes of businesses.
Previous experience in an IT support role is essential.

The role:
- Ensuring that support calls are dealt with in a professional manner.
- Monitoring, fixing and resolution of workstation/ peripherals/ hardware issues.
- Monitoring backups on a daily basis.
- Responsibility for managing, owning and resolving customer issues from start through to completion.
- A full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is required (mileage is paid)
The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following:
- Hardware maintenance & installation.
- Software installation and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Technologies (e. Cloud 365 / Azure / AWS).
- Rollout/desktop support/server admin.
- Microsoft Office Suite and MS desktop operating systems (Install / Config / Maintenance)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 Active Directory, Group policy
- Strong network skills i : TCP/IP / DNS /DHCP etc..
- Knowledge of Routers, Switches, Firewalls
- Microsoft Certification or equivalent (desirable).
