Due to acquiring new prestigious contracts in the South East, this top player within the asbestos market is presently seeking for a self-motivated, committed, multi-skilled and dual qualified Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst, although they would consider a P402 and/or a P403/P404 in the South East and will include applications from London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and the surrounding areas.
Purpose of the Role:
Covering a mixed bag of contracts predominately in the South East.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must possess the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent - RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be fully conversant with the Health and Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
Must be IT literate.
Key Role Will Encompass:
Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work out the work effectively and according to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.
Attributes:
In general, the post-holder will be smart, articulate and flexible, have good work ethos and have the ability carry out the work effectively and within time line.
Must be prepared to travel extensively.
