Would you like to work for a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families? My client are a reputable nationwide organisation who support over 3,000 people throughout the UK and they are looking for a experienced Registered Manager to take up the position of Registered Cluster Manager in the Leeds area.
The Job
This new role comes with big responsibilities as a Registered Cluster Manager. It's your opportunity to gain registered status and develop your career with one of the country's leading names in the learning disabilities sector.
As these are registered manager posts, you will be taking on legal accountability for your 'cluster of services'. This role is central to ensuring services are:-

The responsibilities cover legislation, compliance and finance in addition to people management and provides support for people with a learning disability. In a sense you will be managing your own business unit, with the guidance and support and accountability to your Regional Manager.
You will do your own rota & you would be expected to work one weekend per month on call. (Additional Pay) There will be two managers per weekend on call, one for early shifts and one for lates.
This role would be office based in the Colton, Leeds area. All the services are supported living, you will be allocated a cluster of services and you will be managing approximately 600 hours TBC, 3/4 houses and 15/20 staff.
Requirements
To join us you need to have a Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People Level 5 or equivalent, or the ability to achieveone within 12 months. Experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, previous experience in working with people with complex needs is desirable. It's important that you already have experience of supervising and managing a team - together with the desire to take on more responsibility. A full UK Driving Licence, and access to a vehicle, is essential.
