Salary: Starting from £18,777, rising to £20,989 pro rata

Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, Westwood Nursery provides 48 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
Experience of working in an Early Years setting is essential along with an NVQ Level 3 minimum qualification.
You will need to be a proficient practitioner with excellent communication skills and have extensive understanding of EYFS principles. Ideally, but not essentially, you will also have experience of working with children aged 2-3 years, and be highly motivated, organised and innovative.
You should have the ability to work in a team, to observe, assess and plan as a key person and be able to produce written documentation to support the progress of individual children, being sensitive to their needs.
The nursery opening hours are between 8.30 am - 5.45 pm, Monday-Friday. Other benefits include a generous leave entitlement; including closure over the Christmas period, a pension scheme and access to many of the University's top quality facilities and services.
This is a part-time role (0.4 fte) and is fixed-term to cover maternity leave, expected to be until October 2018.
