Contract Costing Analyst

Established for over 35 years, our client is now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, they are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Contract Costing Analyst to join their team based in Rotherham. You will receive a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

Your duties as a Contract Costing Analyst will include:-

- Reporting into the Job Costing Champion

- Collect & analyze manufacturing information to determine cost of business activities

- Report cost analysis results to the management team for decision making and control

- Continuous development of the contract costing process as the business continues to grow

- Maintain the documentation of data and any statistical arrangements in cost analysis

- Identify possible opportunities for improving the efficiency of production & making profit

- Liaison with internal departments

- Maintain accurate job aids for all duties assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed to become their Contract Costing Analyst:

- Engineering Degree

- Manufacturing experience / knowledge

- Cost analysis experience / knowledge

- IT skills: Mrp system, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint & application of database information

- Excellent communication skill with ability to clearly relay information in both written & verbal forms

- System evaluation: Ability to navigate through a company’s mrp system to understand the information contained

Contract Costing Analyst Working Hours: 41.5 hours per week
