We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Chef Manager to oversee our client's site based in Hertfordshire. As the Chef Manager, you will be fully responsible for all aspects of the catering department including the management and training of the team of 6, budget control and admin. The kitchen caters for breakfast and lunch with approximately 550 covers per day.
To be considered as a candidate, you will
- already be at Chef Manager level
- hold your NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent
- ideally have worked within contract catering or a similar environment
- be financially aware and must be able to manage a budget and control costs accordingly
- be able to produce innovative and modern menus
- be able to manage, train and develop a team
- have excellent communication and organisational skills
- be genuinely passionate about food and service
