About the role
The Timetabling Coordinator will lead all timetabling activity across the University. The post will also have oversight for all recurring and ad-hoc room bookings recorded on the University’s timetabling system, Syllabus Plus.
The Timetabling Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that as the Institution grows, timetabling activity continues to reflect student demand and choice. The post will champion best practice and excellent customer service in all timetabled related activity.
The post will also form a key liaison point for academics, professional services colleagues and senior management. The post will represent the service at meetings and related events and will be the first point of contact for our external software suppliers, ensuring all systems are up to date and delivering the best possible performance.
This post requires an experienced administrator with relevant timetabling experience, ideally within a Higher Education setting. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and should be able to analyse and report on large and complex data sets.
With an appreciation for the strategic demands and challenges of our unique campuses, and the diversity of our portfolio of courses, you will need to represent the service and the students we support as the University continues its development. With the support of your team, you will provide accurate, equitable and creative timetabling solutions utilising excellent communication skills, determination and the ability to motivate both yourself and your team.
