Seasonal vacancies exist for Admissions Staff to work in the pay kiosk and Castle gate at Raby Castle until the end of September 2018. Applicants should have a friendly and outgoing personality as the first point of contact to welcome the thousands of visitors each year, selling tickets, offering information and working in the car park.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure visitors have a positive first impression and feel welcomed.

. Selling tickets and upselling additional products such as the castle guide book, season tickets and other services

. Offering information and advice to help visitors make the most of their visit

. Following established procedures for cash handling, customer service, security and start and end of day procedures

. Completing end-of-day cashing up paperwork effectively

. Previous experience of cash handling and comfortable using an EPOS system

. An outgoing, helpful and friendly personality

. Confident in engaging with members of the public

. Ability to use own initiative

. Ability to work on own or as part of a team

. Flexible attitude with willingness to undertake any task required

. Presentable and a good standard of personal hygiene

. Availability to work weekends is essential
