I am currently working with a leading Lloyd's Insurer based in central London, who are looking to source for a Credit Risk Analyst position. This would be ideal for any Part Qualified Accountants working in a Credit Risk function within the Insurance market. The role reports into the Credit Risk Manager and will be responsible for Credit Risk reporting and support to the Credit Risk Manager at Credit Committee meetings

This would be ideal for any Part Qualified Accountants working in a Credit Risk function within the Insurance market. The role reports into the Credit Risk Manager and will be responsible for Credit Risk reporting and support to the Credit Risk Manager at Credit Committee meetings

Role requirements;

* Management of re-insurer counter party exposure and reporting, monitor exposure against risk appetites and limits.
* Development and maintenance of re-insurer exposure model, internal ratings and approved list.
* Production of other credit risk reporting to support Management, Finance, and Risk etc. as required.
* Assist other areas of the business with credit risk related information including bad debt provisions, Lloyd's submissions, capital modelling inputs etc.
* Perform regular/ad-hoc reviews of re-insurers, brokers and other counter parties as required (e.g. external service providers, cover holders).
* Develop and maintain the Credit Risk Policy, Credit Committee documents and the Procedures Manual
* Responsible for day-to-day implementation of the agreed Credit Risk Policy

Profile requirements;

* An insurance/ reinsurance background is not essential, although candidates must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to challenge and influence the business
* Exposure to a credit risk environment either in a bank or exposure to rating agencies
* Part-qualified accountant, working towards completion of exams (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
* (Financial Analysis background is highly desirable)
