An opportunity has arisen for an Account Handler to join our client, a reputable and well established Commercial Insurance Brokers. The role situated in Lincoln, will involve liaising with clients as well as providing a senior level of administration to the Account Executives.
Salary: £18,000- £25,000 (D)
Benefits: Free Parking, Upto 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Healthcare Vouchers, Pension
Hours: Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm
The Role:
- Processing Renewals
- Amending Schedules
- Issuing cover notes
- Acting as an intermediary between insurance agents and underwriters
- Taking payments from clients
- Schedule and make appointments
- Assisting with the monthly invoicing process including raising invoices
- Answering and transferring calls, taking messages and managing emails
- Writing letters, manuscripts and financial documents
- Liaising with clients
- Monitoring the distribution of work
The Successful Candidate:
- Is able to work to their own initiative
- Will be able to work without direct supervision
- Should be an excellent communicator
- Will come from a strong administration background
- It is desirable that the candidate will have knowledge of/ experience within insurance
- Will have strong organisational ability
- Is fully competent with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
