Sales Office Manager

Our client is one of the largest and oldest independent Builders’ Merchants in the east of England with fourteen diverse sites. They are able to meet the needs of the professional builder and decorator, and those of their private customers.

Reporting to the Sales Director and managing a dedicated Sales Team, you will have full responsibility for the smooth running of a busy sales office encompassing:

• Account Management
• Sales and Margin Management
• Pro-active Sales
• Administration/reporting/order expediting
• Developing customer relationships, both internal and external
• Identifying and following up on new business opportunities
• Supporting external sales force

You will be an "unflappable", enthusiastic sales manager, who's experience is ideally gained within a Builders Merchants, who thrives on co-ordinating the diverse activities of a busy sales office, with strong interpersonal skills.
