We have a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children and Family Support Worker, based at our TouchBase Cymru centre in Caerphilly, Wales.

About the role


The successful candidate will provide a professional, coordinated model of support to children and young people who have a range of sensory impairments and complex communication needs. This will involve working with colleagues to offer a range of accessible events and activities, as well as family support on an individual basis.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.

About you

Experience of working with disabled children or young people including those with sensory impairments is essential. You should hold a diploma in Childcare and Education, NNEB or equivalent level 3 qualifications. A sound knowledge of child protection processes is also required as well as the skills necessary to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You should also have the necessary ICT and administrative skills to support you in this role. The post will require travel across the locality and occasionally nationally.
