Temporary to Permanent Accountant role West Lincolnshire

Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a highly regarded manufacturing company in the West Lincolnshire area. The role is a temporary position with a view to permanency to commence at the beginning of March.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include; controlling purchase, sales and nominal ledger, multi-currency cashbooks, expense claims, petty cash, inter-company loans and foreign currency transactions
Preparing monthly accounts, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, VAT returns and accounting for incentives and pension schemes
You will run a small payroll and group pension scheme, produce PIID's and year end returns
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with a good working knowledge of accounting practices, computer literate with good knowledge of accounting systems and good Excel and Word skills
You will have previous experience of working in a small company environment, be able to work unsupervised under pressure and adapt to constantly changing priorities. Skills required include; flexibility, dependability, intellect and enthusiasm, Confidentiality, Ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of a small team.
You will need to be available to start temporary work in the next few weeks and be living in commutable distance of West Lincolnshire.
