Job Description for employer engagement officer & Person Spec

Our Client  are currently recruiting an Employer Engagement Officer, if you have a passion for supporting people to realise their potential and experience of delivering excellent customer service in a target driven environment we’d like to hear from you. Our Client are recruiting to their New Directions team an individual with the ability to engage employers in the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector to participate in the New Directions Programme; supporting those furthest from the Job Market into employment in the Engineering & Manufacturing Sector.  You will support employers to shape, develop and engage in the delivery of pre-employment training sessions and projects that aim to give those furthest from the jobs market the skills and confidence to pursue employment in the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector.

Excellent time management and organisation skills coupled with a flexible approach are essential as is the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders in the Bournemouth & Poole area. An understanding of the importance of following our client’s policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety and Safeguarding.
