16hrs to 37.5hours available

Bridge View Medical is a new GP Practice being formed from the merger of four Practices in Bedminster, Bristol.  This is an exciting time to be joining the Practice as we develop new ways of working that benefit both our patients and our staff.  When established in your role you will enjoy opportunities to gain experience across our sites and to develop into a Care Navigator, enabling you to direct patients into a wider variety of services other than the traditional GP or Nurse.  We train medical students, GP Registrars and Student Nurses which creates a lively atmosphere in our Practices and results in our clinicians being exposed to the latest developments in training.  This ethos of training cascades to all areas of the Practice so that all our staff can benefit.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly supportive team working across all five of our Surgeries.

Duties will include: handling patient problems and queries both  face to face and on the phone, assisting clinical staff and general admin duties. 

The successful applicant must be computer literate, able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills, empathy and exceptional attention to detail.  Flexibility to work extra shifts to cover holidays and/or sickness is vital.  Maintaining patient confidentiality, working in a fast paced environment and enjoying dealing with people are essential requirements. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
