Phone Based Customer Sales Advisor

I am recruiting for a phone based Customer Sales Advisor based near Tamworth for a leading worldwide catering supplier. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established company where it is all about delivering the best customer service whilst promoting the clients products.

THE ROLE
You will be assisting in the achievement of National Account sales, profit and customer service targets through individual and team KPIs. You will be delivering outstanding customer service at all times ensuring each customer's experience is exceptional. This is primarily an inbound phone based position where you will be supporting the National Account contracts with requests; you will be expected to cross sell and up sell on customers' orders, this is not a hard sell position, sales come through service and by asking the right questions. There will also be an element of outbound calls too.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Receive calls relating to the following:
Customer orders
Customer concerns
General queries
Product and price enquiries
Delivery updates
Invoice queries
- Mange a daily call diary
- Grow and develop the current accounts by up selling and cross selling customer orders
- Carry out revenue-generating administration tasks
- Manage of stock items, communicating with the purchasing department and keeping customers updated
- Regular communication with internal and external teams, to include National Account Managers, Operations, Stock Control and Credit Control

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Comfortable with completing warm sales tasks, i. up selling and cross selling to existing customers
- B2B experience would be ideal but this is not essential
- Call based customer service experience
- Excellent Communication skills
- Experience of working towards team targets
- Stable work history and looking for a longer term position
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail in previous roles as this is critical
- Experience of working quickly and under pressure to achieve set KPI's
- A passionate team player with the willing to learn and motivation to develop yourself
- Due to the location ideally you will need to be able to drive or live locally to junction 10 of the M42

- £17,000 basic salary with opportunity to earn commission on top
- Potential to receive part of a monthly team bonus which could be up to £250 per month
