For this Science Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor, the successful candidate will be somebody who is excited about their subject, and someone who can encourage students to positively engage with Chemistry, Biology and Physics. As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will bring new and interesting way of looking at science and be keen to share these with student through year 7-11.
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the students, supporting them with practical and theoretical work. You will be a figure within the classroom that they will be able to come to when they need guidance. As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be continually learning new curriculum and following the lead of the class teacher.
This is a great role for you to develop personally, enabling you to gain the necessary skills into becoming a trainee teacher. Within this opportunity there will be a fantastic chance of taking on a Cover Supervisor role as well as a Teaching Assistant. This will give you an experience of putting classroom and behavior management into practice. Which I am sure you will agree are vital skills to have as an aspiring Teacher.
