Community Fundraising Manager, Romford -
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Community Fundraising Manager with a well-established not-for-profit organisation within Hertfordshire. This is an exceptional and rare chance for an innovative community fundraising professional to really contribute in the development and growth of our client's cause, and boost their fundraising.
Reporting to the Head of Events, as Community Fundraising Manager, your responsibilities will include: planning, development and implementation of fundraising strategies; management of and external fundraising that may be taking place; encouraging collaborative partnerships and building relationships with local contacts; management of a team of fundraising professionals; act as a public representative on behalf of the organisation at external fundraising events; and ensure that all targets are met not only by yourself and your team.
For this role, the client desires for you to have a qualification in fundraising or a significant level of work experience as an alternative. As there are elements to this role where you will regularly be seen as the point of contact for the organisation, it is vital that you have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all people at all levels; you must also have excellent analytical skills, and the ability to recognise potential opportunities in the world of fundraising.
