CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, 37 hours per week Based in Buckfast, Devon GBP60-65,000 per annum, depending on experience Due to the pending retirement of the current longstanding CEO, an exciting opportunity has arisen to lead this forward thinking Voluntary Adoption Agency. Families for Children operates within the South West and has a national reputation for excellence and is registered as Outstanding by Ofsted. You will need to be able to demonstrate: Sound strategic skills; Good business skills (including Finance, HR and Health and Safety); Leadership qualities; Passion and Commitment to providing quality services; A minimum of five years' experience as a leader in a social care setting; and A good understanding of the challenges of adoption work. The successful applicant will lead an established Voluntary Adoption Agency with high standards and a competitive edge; will work with supportive Trustees, a skilled Senior Leadership Team and highly capable, enthusiastic staff, all of whom want to make a positive difference to the lives of children.
