Join one of the worlds largest express delivery companies as a Loading Bay Operative at their warehouse in Tamworth, the central hub to our clients delivery network.
Youll load and unload packages from company vehicles, scan, sort and label them as required, and report any issues that arise such as damaged packages or prohibited items, maintaining our clients excellent standard of service to their customers.
Working Pattern:
Working upto 5 days a week. We currently have the following shifts patterns:
1 Monday to Friday: 13:00pm to 21:00pm
2 Monday to Friday: 20:00pm to 03:30am
3 Monday to Friday: 21:00pm to 03:30am
4 Sunday 18:00pm to 02:00 (can also work one of the above shift patterns Mon to Fri and Sunday to make 6 days)
(shift start and end times may vary)
Hourly Rate:
Under the age of 25 GBP7.05 per hour
Age of 25 and over GBP7.50 per hour
After 12 weeks of service GBP8.74 per hour
After 1 year of Service GBP8.84 per hour
After 2 years of service GBP11.84 per hour
Holidays: Up to 28 days accrued holiday per year
You must have the ability to work within a team and be customer focused. Youll make sure all company standards, policies, procedures and agreements are adhered to, in line with your induction training. This will ensure all deliveries safely arrive at their final destination ontime and in an excellent condition.
