Role summary
Your role will be to look after all aspects of our clients' requirements by being part of our Inbound telephone team working to maintain long term relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The role is varied and interesting and consists of the following areas:
You'll process orders, enquiries and quotes over the telephone and by fax and email ensuring the highest level of accuracy while always looking for opportunities to upsell.
We encourage you to build a repour with our customers, by building relationships and providing an excellent service you'll keep them coming back.
You'll look after customers when they have a query, be it a late delivery or a returns request, you'll ensure that your client's receive the best service from one point of contact.

Experience & skills
Experience in sales of tangible products in a business to business environment is a big advantage. A friendly personality and ability to win clients over are also essential.
Technical knowledge is not required but the successful client must demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand client's needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic to learn, demonstrate drive and a desire to provide the highest level of service and recognise opportunities to upsell.
Principle duties and requirements include:
" A high level of initiative and ability to work independently
" The ability to work and interact with client senior level staff, engineers and administrative staff
" Commercial acumen (understanding profitability and costs)
" Exceptional communication: both written and spoken.
" Coordinate work flow with other team members
" Able to analyse and interpret data rapidly and effectively to provide customer insight
" Strong organisational and planning skills
" A good level of IT competency
Training
We don't expect our candidates to have industry experience or product knowledge so we offer a comprehensive training programme. In addition to initial induction training, we also offer a training academy to cover all aspects of our industry and product range. Qualification in each area contributes to a rise in your basic salary.
