Youth Centre Manager

The North Avenue Youth Centre in Chelmsford is looking for someone with inspiration and enthusiasm to take over the leadership and development of this established youth centre in a challenging environment.

The aim of the centre is to help young people to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities by providing a varied programme of activities and opportunities.

The prospective manager would be expected to demonstrate passion and commitment to work with young people and the local community to grow the work of the Youth Centre.

Are YOU an enthusiastic team leader; able to nurture volunteers as well as paid staff; be a good communicator; have a desire to develop the centre-based work; and to work with the local churches and community in a variety of shared projects?

The position is for an initial fixed term two year contract for 37.5 hours per week at a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
