Our client is recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing / distribution business that works closely with its clients on the delivery of its specified products into two distinct and highly regulated markets. As a result of increased demand and following a reorganisation, they now require a talented individual to join them as an Operations Director and lead all their non client-facing operations - including manufacturing, distribution, administration and support functions.

Reporting to the MD, you will become a key member of the senior management team of five. As the Operations Director, your responsibility will centre around leading manufacturing and distribution to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full – managing the workload, organising resources, leading people effectively and focusing on the drive towards operational excellence. 

The main challenges will involve change management and innovation as the remit is wide-ranging - including implementing new processes and streamlining procedures to increase productivity, improve performance and facilitate growth.

As the Operations Director, you will naturally have a successful track record in leading various teams and projects in a manufacturing environment. Proactive and prepared to challenge, you will have the passion and ability to make things happen. Above all, you must have the blend of leadership skills and management expertise to get the best from your teams and deliver business objectives.
