Job Title:  Contracts Manager

Location: Base office is Bredbury, Stockport

UK travel to client sites and meetings.

Job Type: Permanent

Trial Period: 3 Months

Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week

Flexible working hours will be considered

Remuneration:

£40k - Salary level dependent on experience

Mileage claimed at HMRC rates (£0.45/mile)

Holidays: 20 days per annum + Statutory holidays

Specific Duties

• Project planning and engineering.

• Control over site operations.

• Contract specific material procurement.

• Design control.

• New product development.

• Weekly, monthly and annual labour planning and programming.

• Monthly payroll preparation

• The sourcing and development of new clients and sales opportunities.

• The production of quotations or estimates.

• The preparation of annual targets and budgets (with SW).

• The selection and auditing of suppliers and sub-contractors.

• Post-contract analysis and reporting.

• Method statements, risk assessments, health & safety files and COSHH.

• Site surveys and reporting.

• Authorisation of Staff Holidays.

Minimum Credentials

• Engineering or Construction experience.

• Must hold full driving licence.

• No criminal record.

• Flexible work ethic is essential.

• Computer literate (Microsoft office).

• Good communication skills.

Advantageous Credentials

• Previous experience related to the above described job duties.

• Previous experience working on commercial swimming pool installations.

• CSCS Card certification.

• 5-day SMSTS certification.

• Microsoft Project software (or similar) experience.

• Autocad experience.

• Pool plant operator trained.

You will be communicating with our clients, both remotely and attending design meetings, representing the company. Candidates must therefore have good communication skills and a professional image.

30min first interviews; personal introduction and assessment of suitability.

Shortlisting of candidates from first interviews.

1hr second interviews; in depth review of skills and experience. Meet members of existing project team for discussion.

Candidate selection.
