An exciting opportunity for a HR Manager based in Ascot

Your new role
Support the UK business by ensuring that business requirements in terms of recruitment, development, training, compensation and benefits and employee relations are met and are compliant with the current legislation, by supporting the definition and implementation of the HR strategy in line with overall strategy and the Divisional HR strategy.
HR STRATEGY Cooperate in defining HR strategy

* Cooperate in defining and getting approval (from the country management and Divisional HR) on the HR strategy (3 year plan)
* Support Director Controlling UK to achieve overall Budget objectives through continuous monitoring of set KPIs and project follow up. Adjust as needed in order to achieve objectives
* Keep up to date on the latest developments and innovations in the HR sphere. Propose implementation of relevant ones in order to improve efficiency and performance of the HR function
* Participate in local / international strategic projects

OPERATIONAL HR PROCEDURES Support in defining and controlling the HR department's annual budget in order to optimize costs and achieve UK's strategy. Ensure that all operational HR procedures are followed at UK

* Support Director Controlling UK in defining budget including payroll and litigation budgets by understanding needs of the different teams
* Ensure cost/quality equilibrium through the proper selection of HR related service providers, vendors and tools in cooperation with the Director Controlling UK and Divisional HR
* Support Director Controlling UK in tracking HR related budget frequently, and readjust accordingly
* Ensure regular reporting on budget
* Ensure that contracts of employed staff and independent sales representatives are in line with local legislation up to date and coherent within both Divisions
* Ensure professional recruitment procedures within UK
* Ensure compliance of all HR procedures (Sick-leave, holidays, recruiting and lay off process, etc.)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Manage the administration of personnel and independent sales representatives ensuring respect of the current legislation and the budget

* Support Director Controlling UK in defining and optimising the compensation and benefits policy and ensure its implementation
* Ensure internal and external equity of compensation and benefits through benchmarking studies, etc.
* Advise on the structuring of the commissions for the sales network
* Ensure, together with Director Controlling UK and Divisional HR that the administrative systems and processes related to pay are in place in order to ensure timely payment of salaries and payroll expenses by overseeing the external payroll provider
* Keep up to date on legislation

What you'll need to succeed
Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience

* Strong operational knowledge of human resource topics (compensation and benefits, training, talent management, labour law, etc.)
* Understanding of individual psychology linked to motivation, engagement and recognition
* To have gained first experiences in HR strategy and systems

Associated Typical Profile

* Either possess or studying towards CIPD or similar qualification
* 2-5 years' experience in HR,
* Somebody with both an SME/Start Up background and exposure to Corporate Structures
