Location: Banbury

The Senior National Account Manager main job purpose: 

- To deliver and exceed against DCS sales and margin targets for own accounts and teams

- To build and deliver against volume and value forecast by supplier, by customer

- To manage & own customer Terms conversations & agreements on behalf of our suppliers

- To deliver supplier objectives in line with customer & DCS Joint Business Plans (JBPs)

- To build successful relationships with new and existing DCS customers and suppliers

- To grow DCS / supplier market share in the relevant customer and category

- To manage supplier investment and terms agreements whilst driving ROI

- To manage all aspects of people management & development activities, if required within a team

- To ensure the team is delivering against targets & KPIs

Key responsibilities of the Senior National Account Manager role:

- Thorough customer understanding (KPIs, contacts, customer portfolio, shopper profile, strategy, pricing, promotions, category size, supply chain etc.)

- Understand and influence customer and supplier strategy within customer portfolio

- Tracking of customer budgeted investment, effectively processing invoices and claims

- Full understanding if Supplier Funding Models & promotional guidelines

- Work within Supplier funding guidelines and manage promotional investment

- Total account business modelling, Long Term strategic modelling with constant analysis of ROI

- Build and implement individual customer promotional plans in line with the supplier guidelines

- Influence range & distribution, managing core range compliance and seasonal activities

- Implementation & tracking of customer budgeted investment

- Effectively process & track invoices & claims

- Ensure rebates & accruals are set up and for your team if applicable

- EPOS / Salesout data tracking and analysis

- Share competitor intelligence and provide customer insight

- Produce effective sales & numbers reports to be distributed internally & externally

- Build effective professional customer presentations

- To manage your team effectively to hit team and individual targets

- Team reviews and appraisals

- To support your team with customer meetings and negotiations as required

- Ensure all activities relating to medicines & medical devices are in accordance with Good Distribution Practice of medical products
