This company is based in the seaside town of Teignmouth near Exeter and is in the business of helping their customers protect the things that mean the most to them - their goal is to give them total peace of mind and the reassurance that we're with them every step of the way.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with proven experience in a business to business sales environment.

Main Purpose of the role
- To serve as a lead point of contact for all customer account manager matters & assist with delivering business solutions according to customer needs & objectives
- To develop business and maximise income through upsell & relationship management with both existing and new accounts
- To ensure retention of accounts using a consistent contact strategy
- To demonstrate detailed knowledge of current market conditions in the lettings industry, their and competitors' products ensuring credibility with clients and re-affirming our Market Leader status
- To play a central role in introducing new products to the market

Key Tasks
- Provide telephone account management to agents in all geographical areas
- To provide information on FCA regulated insurance products in a non-advised manner to enable customers to reach an informed decision to purchase
- Provide accurate and effective records of customer interaction demonstrating a clear and consistent approach to maximising our customers business potential
- To present the company's portfolio of products & services including general insurance and referencing to potential clients through direct communications whether face to face, telephone or by email
- Meet set sales targets for growth & retention
- Monitor and follow up on all product training completed with agents
- Deal effectively and take ownership of client queries. Escalate where appropriate.
- Operate compliantly with relevant FCA regulations and procedures
- Liaise with other business areas to achieve aims and objectives of the department and to 'delight' our customers
- Proactively pursue personal development and achievement against target
- Any other duties that the company may reasonably ask you to perform which are within your skill sets

Qualifications
- A level grade C or equivalent including English language or literature.

Experience/Knowledge
- Confident negotiator & ability to 'close the deal'
- Strong Account Management skills & ability to keep promises
- Proven sales ability
- Proven experience of successful & compliant selling in a related industry would be an advantage.

Desirable
- Knowledge of the Lettings industry
- Experience of working within the FCA regulated environment
- Proven experience of successful and compliant selling in a related industry
- An accredited sales qualification

Basic salary £18,500 + OTE of 40% + up to 10% annual bonus OTE £27,500 - salary is negotiable depending experience
