Required for an immediate start, applications are invited for the post of Cover Supervisor at our large and forward-looking college. The main role of the successful applicant will be to supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher. However, the role also provides opportunities to support teaching and learning within subject areas, according to the level of experience and areas of expertise of the person appointed.  Full training and support will be given and the college has a well-organised induction programme linked to professional development opportunities. 

Applicants must have a good level of education, excellent interpersonal skills and some previous experience of working with young people. 

South Holderness Technology College is a large and well-regarded college situated on a pleasant green field site in the village of Preston in East Yorkshire, to the east of Hull.

Hours: 32.5 per week during term-time + 5 training days
