Hospitality Manager (maternity cover)

An exciting full time (12 month maternity cover) post is available in the Hospitality Team from 19 March 2018 on a fixed term basis until 18 March 2019

Flexible working hours are necessary in this role to ensure successful event delivery. You will be required to work any 5 days from 7, including evening and weekend work.

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting the Hospitality Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the business
  • leading by example you’ll pass on your high standards to the team and ensure they are at the top of their game
  • delivering excellent customer service
  • supporting the Hospitality Manager in training new team members
  • creating and implementing business plans to help build the business

As a representative of an award winning team you will be expected to:

  • be a proactive individual
  • be well organised with excellent attention to detail for event delivery
  • ideally have previous experience as a Deputy or Assistant Manager in a hospitality environment
  • have first rate communication skills and the ability to lead from the front as well as managing a large team of casual and contract employees
  • be friendly and outgoing, whilst driven to succeed

The starting salary will be from £20,411 on Grade D, depending on qualifications and experience.
