Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Marketing Director to take responsibility for the overall strategy, planning and management of the Company's marketing. With successful revenue growth from £65m in 2014 to £123m in 2017 their marketing strategy will provide significant support to achieving their target of £200m in 2020.
The post holder will report to the CEO with responsibility for the Marketing Manager and team of 3 marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a B2B marketing strategy to drive customer growth, retention and brand awareness across all digital and media channels, including SEO, PPC, Display, Paid Social, Viral and Content Marketing
- Shaping the digital service and product roadmap, refining existing branding to have a clear brand architecture, which supports portfolio of new offerings
- Developing and targeting customer segments where there is opportunity for increased wallet share, working closely with the sales teams
- Creating a content led strategy which will draw a B2B audience through relevant touchpoints, leveraging the internal expertise status as a media commentator and contributor
- Growing online communities, which will drive content sharing, audience engagement, recommendations, and reviews
- Building brand awareness through PR, media, industry relations and events
- Responsible for creating and executing ROI driven marketing strategies across the Reconomy group of companies
- Management of corporate communications strategy and visibility programmes to strengthen the company as a leading authority figure in key industries
- Working with the Director team to define and implement the overall Business strategy
Skills & Experience:
- Proven execution of strategic marketing within a company with revenue of circa £200m
- Understanding of an outsourced business model, ideally within a related industry
- Experience of working in a private equity backed organisation that has managed significant growth
- Operates both a strategic and hands on approach, leading from the front and setting examples
The Ideal Person:
- A persuasive communicator, able to articulate a creative vision that is meaningful, relevant to the business and deliverable by the team
- A strong knowledge of digital marketing and the creation and implementation of successful strategies, with corresponding results
- You understand what outsourced waste management is and the concept of a circular economy
- Commercially astute having worked in a PE backed business previously
- You're intellectually curious, energetic, and innovative
- You enjoy leading from the front and being hands on in a changing and growing business

- You can work effectively as a team member across the company while also providing team leadership and orchestrating buy-in from across departments
- You can promote the value of our outsourced solution offering to assist the company's growth targets - and be able to coach others to do the same
