Our client is a leading Independent School that has created a network of institutions and connections that facilitate learning solutions for foreign students coming to the UK. They are now looking for a School Administrator to join their team.

As a School Administrator, you will be challenged to provide an outstanding level of support to school operations. 

Specifically, you will support senior staff in the delivery of IB and Summer School Programmes, front office functions, admissions, communications and data information systems. 

As the first point of contact for the reception area, you will be working within our client’s busy international school environment, taking charge of school-based administration and supporting various academic departments. 

Your role will involve: 

- Answering the phone, receiving deliveries, welcoming visitors and responding to queries 
- Creating and managing dynamic systems for admin activity 
- Managing our client’s information management systems, iSAMS, Open Apply, Google Platform and Managebac 
- Managing the school’s office, supplies and resources 
- Acting as the attendance officer 
- Supporting and participating in staff meetings, training days, parents’ evenings and school functions 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- At least three years’ experience in a school or office environment 
- At a minimum, three years’ experience of managing an office or reception environment 
- Experience of databases and/or information management systems such as iSAMS, Open Apply, Google Platform or Managebac 
- Customer service experience 
- Administration and secretarial qualifications 
- A degree level (or equivalent) qualification 

The ideal School Administrator will have public relations qualifications, customer care experience, experience of working outside the UK, experience of international education, and/or the ability to work independently. 

Networking and negotiation skills would also be beneficial, as would the ability to speak another language, in addition to fluent English and a first aid certification/qualification.
