Can you help us empower our members?

We're looking for an organised and proactive Student Development Administrator who can take a leading role in responding to student enquiries, updating the website employability sections and assisting with training preparation and evaluation to better engage our members and support the Student Development Team, Departments and Services.

Who Are We?

Part business, part charity, part membership body, Warwick Students' Union is a vibrant place to work.

An independent organisation in our own right, we are professionally run, but different. Our talented teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives and fulfil potential; we empower them to make all this happen.

Warwick Students' Union is one of more than 550 students' unions across the country. And with more than 24,000 members, over 250 societies, 70 sports clubs, hundreds of elected representatives, a huge range of services and a bold strategy, we're one of the most exciting.

What's the job?
Working within the Student Development Team and reporting into the Student Development Manager, the role will be responsible for responding to routine enquiries, assisting in booking and delivering training to volunteers and officers, ensuring that attendance forms, agendas and training materials are up to date, sourcing news and website content and assisting with departmental research and evaluation.

Who you are:
This is a responsive and varied role and you will be an approachable, organised and technically astute individual with good communication and team work skills. You will also possess:
* Ability to deliver a high level of customer care
* Demonstrable planning and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A thorough and methodical approach with good attention to detail
* Ability to research and collate information
* Ability to write and update website content
* Good team working skills
* Tact and diplomacy
* Knowledge and competence with Microsoft Office and IT skills in general
* A positive approach to diversity and equality of opportunity issues

Why apply?
The exact opposite of corporate, we're progressive, passionate individuals working to make a difference in unconventional workplaces.

In return for your enthusiasm and experience, we offer the flexibility for work-life balance, a competitive salary for the non-profit sector, a contributory defined contribution pension scheme and excellent holiday allowance.

We're committed to equality of opportunity for all. We welcome applications from individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, or disability status. We want to support diverse and inclusive work environments and are actively looking for people who share our values.

Whoever you are, we'd love to hear from you.

Closing date: 9 Monday 19th February 2018
Interviews will take place on Monday 26th February 2018.
