TIPTREE PARISH COUNCIL -CLERK TO THE COUNCIL AND RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER
SALARY LC3 Spinal Point 40, PRO RATE TO 27 HOURS PER WEEK
Tiptree Parish Council is looking to recruit an experienced Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management of the Parish Councils' activities and be able to demonstrate an ability to develop and implement the future plans of the Parish Council. Applicants should possess the CILCA qualification, or be prepared to undertake the necessary training within 6 months of appointment. Excellent IT and communications skills are essential.
Duties will include preparation of agendas and minutes, advising on legal/financial matters, managing the Councils' budget including the preparation of the Annual Return, liaising with other agencies and supervision of staff. The Parish Council or its committees meet every Monday evening and the attendance of the Clerk at these meetings is essential.
The post is 27 hours per week, including attendance at evening meetings and is based in the Parish Council office in the centre of Tiptree.
