We are currently recruiting for an ICT Service Desk Technician to work 37.5 hours per week (full time) in Selly Oak, Birmingham on a permanent contract.

About the role

The role of Service Desk Technician is to ensure excellent computer operation so that our customers can accomplish business tasks. Within this fast paced environment, you would need to receive, prioritise, document and actively resolve customer requests whilst striving to deliver the highest level of customer service.

Incident resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual provide telephone, remote and in-person, hands-on help at desktop level.

This role will be based at our TouchBase Pears office in Selly Oak, although some travel to other Sense sites across the UK may be necessary from time to time. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is desirable for this role.

About you 

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a talent for problem solving and the ability to apply these skills in a technical environment.

We would like to hear from you if you have solid and proven experience, and are looking to build on your knowledge and eager to develop new skills. Significant experience of Windows Operating Systems, desktop support and active directory domain administration is essential.
