Now, we are looking for an Assistant Storesperson to join us on a part time basis.

The Role: 

As an Assistant Storesperson, you will deliver goods and food to sites across our zoo. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Ensure our stores are kept tidy and organised 
- Assist with the movement of animals between zoological collections 
- Help to maintain accurate records 
- Provide a positive experience to all visitors 
- Purchase goods as directed by the Curator 

About You: 

While no experience is required, to become our Assistant Storesperson, you’ll need: 

- A full, valid driving licence 
- A good understanding of MS Excel and Outlook 
- Strong customer service skills 
- A positive attitude 

Ideally, you will have experience of manoeuvring horseboxes and/or trailers, but this isn’t essential. Experience of driving tractors and electric vehicles would also be beneficial. 

Other organisations may call this role Junior Storeperson, Assistant Storeman, Assistant Storewoman, Delivery Driver, Driver, Zoo Assistant, Trainee Storesperson, Distribution Assistant or Distribution Operative. 

This is a part time role, working 23.25 hours per week, 8:00 – 17:15 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
