Due to two resignations, my client school are keen to recruit an outstanding Teacher of Chemistry for the start of new academic year. For candidates with the right skills, experience and commitment to high quality learning there is the possibility of a future leadership role within the science department. For NQTs looking to complete their foundation year the school offer an excellent package and are 100% committed to ensuring the year is a successful one on the road to gaining qualified teacher status.

The school, located to the east of Birmingham, is a larger than average secondary school with over 1600 pupils on the roll. It's a specialist science school with over 15 laboratories and state of the art equipment / ICT. Although the school was graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted this hasn't slowed down the head's continual push to improve in all areas. This dedication and commitment to attaining the highest of standards is reflected throughout all departments in school, where pupils', parents and staff expect only the best.

As an experienced Teacher of Chemistry you will be well versed in providing outstanding lessons that meet the needs of the most demanding pupils. You will be comfortable with teaching at all Key Stages including A Level and be able to differentiate to match the varying ability of the pupils under your tutelage. For NQTs the school are looking for candidates that have been graded as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' on their final professional placements.
