Assistant Accountant

Your new company My client is a leading charity based in Central London. They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. Your new role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for preparing bank reconciliations as well as investment reconciliations. You will be responsible for producing ad-hoc reports, processing of accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process which will involve working closely with the Head of Finance and liaising with the budget holders to discuss budgets. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will be a part-qualified (ACCA OR CIMA) accountant or AAT qualified with experience in a similar role. It is essential to have strong reconciliations experience, such as bank and balance sheet reconciliations and have been heavily involved with the month-end process. Advanced Excel experience is essential. Charity sector experience is highly desirable. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a salary of GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 per annum working in an excellent Central London based location plus benefits which includes a study support package.
