We are a highly successful UK-based Fintech Software vendor embarking on an exciting growth journey after significant recent investment in new product and people. Over the next 12 months, the business will grow headcount and revenues significantly as their new flagship Enterprise SaaS platform releases as a unique proposition in the market.

Our current offering - the leading cloud-based Order-to-Cash Accounts Receivable suite – enables Enterprise customers to automate processes, reduce costs and improve cash collection efficiencies - meaning cash flow increases. The company’s SaaS platform enables customers to get paid faster by automating manual and time-consuming tasks.

The Scrum Master Opportunity:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our fast growing team as we look to deliver the latest version of our Flagship product this year. With our recent transformation to agile ways of working we are looking for someone who can bring experience and ideas to the table and help shape our processes to become even more efficient.

We are developing world class FinTech solutions for companies that you will know and we want you to be part of that.

The role will involve working closely with the Product Owner, Front End Developers, Back End Developers and QA, both on site and off site, you will be setting out to challenge existing processes to improve efficiency and quality - consistently raising the bar. You will do this by creating a culture of high motivation and continuous improvement within the tech team, whilst proactively communicating with all stakeholders. The team is given a large amount of autonomy and the freedom to make quick decisions that positively impact the product.

Your role will be challenging and varied, with opportunities to learn and develop along the way. You will have 3 or more years of agile software development experience, and be responsible for giving the team the best opportunity to succeed in a constantly evolving environment.

You will have a development background and be comfortable talking technical details with developers. You will enjoy coaching and steering teams to use and adapt various agile methods and tools. Ensuring that the team is facilitated through sprint planning, stand-ups, show and tells and retrospectives. We have grown quickly and now need to move into small, agile delivery focused teams so you will have a large part in this.

Person Profile:

+ You are a Certified Scrum Master with several years commercial experience.
+ You have delivered at least one enterprise project.
+ You have a background in software development and / or testing or project management.
+ At least three years experience in a Scrum Master role working with enterprise software development teams.
+ Experience working with nearshore/offshore/distributed developers or teams is an advantage.
+ Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and servant leadership.
+ Knowledge of Agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
+ Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques – Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Testing, Pair programming etc.
+ Familiar with Jira.
+ Strong and effective people and communication skills.

You will be based on-site at our office 20 miles west of Oxford on the Cotswold Borders.
