Finance Analyst

Working as part of our finance team supporting our direct and indirect sales teams in Poole, you will be responsible for ensuring the complete, accurate and timely receipt and processing of commissions from our network partnerships.
Main Duties & responsibilities:
Maintain and perform as a subject matter expert (SMA) for the Matching tool with CPWB. Oversee the price book maintenance and creation in Oracle. To act as a Network liaison and deliver effective Business Partnering.
- Commission Price books creation and maintenance; liaise with Airtime manager to co-ordinate updates, review for accuracy, complete authorisations and process to agree implementation dates.
- Actively define opportunities for process improvements, manage testing and assist with implementation.
- Validate all connection files for loading to the Oracle Matching Tool.
- Accurately categorise all transactional data processed into the Matching Tool.
- Act as an SME for the Matching Tool, trouble shoot errors and facilitate effective data processing.
- Ensure completion of reporting and timeliness of all processing activities according to the monthly work schedule.
- Through effective Business Partnering, all queries should be resolved with the Network(s) within SLA.
- Be able to demonstrate proactive Partnering relationships with all other areas of the CPWB business.
- Support in regular meetings to be held with the Network(s) to review service levels, build relationships and ensure efficient processes are agreed between the teams.
- Support on preparation of claims submitted to networks, investigation of responses within the agreed timeframe and followed through effectively to completion
- Create and maintain a full set of working procedure documents for all core activities carried out within the role. Maintain version control for these documents.
- Ensure procedures are fully up to date and tested to provide effective 2nd level support for other team members.
- Implement and maintain cross training to cover all core operational activities performed within the role.
You will need:
- The role would suit a recent Graduate actively studying for recognized accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA)
- Intermediate level for Microsoft Excel, office and other associated software. Experience of using Oracle (desirable)
- An ability to deal with complex data and communicate trends
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of telecoms industry (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
