Web Developer - PHP - Prestashop ideal

This family run company based in Baildon, near Shipley West Yorkshire, is a leading manufacturer of made to measure blinds and shutters. The company works hard to bring customer satisfaction to the forefront of their business, and this goes all the way from design through to installation. They offer complete window blind installations to suit their home residential, commercial and retail clients from their base which operates a manufacturing shop floor, busy customer services team, a popular eBay marketplace store and they also run the business to consumer website which is the key growth area for the business.

They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic web developer to join their team to work on their Blinds By Post website and become a key part of an exciting, growing business. You'll be working alongside the company Directors, Head of Online & Customer Services and a digital marketing consultant to define the strategy and development roadmap to achieve their ambitious online business growth.

Key skills & responsibilities:
- Expert in PHP, (ideal knowledge of Prestashop)
- Knowledge of Wordpress, and proven experience of learning and developing on other platforms
- Able to manage demands of a dynamic, reactive and ambitious business
- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- A keen and proactive interest in website optimisation
- Able to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
- Strong communication skills and able to work as part of busy, hard working team

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years' of experience in web development and software design
- Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), PHP frameworks, and MySQL databases
- Prestashop experience ideal, but proven fast learner with skills working on other platforms
- Good Wordpress experience
