Heritage Care has a fantastic opportunity available for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join the team at Hazlemere Lodge in High Wycombe. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,103 per annum.

Reporting to the Home Manager, you will lead and inspire the professional development of nursing and care staff within the service. As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you will provide a highly visible and authoritative presence whilst ensuring the delivery of high quality care and support also ensuring that the service offers a warm, caring, stimulating and homely environment to all the people we support.

You will need to be a registered Nurse with experience of supervising, training and mentoring nurses and care staff.  Also you will need to demonstrate good knowledge of the CQC Fundamental Standards whilst having up to date knowledge of clinical practices.  Good communication skills is a must including verbal, literacy and numeracy.  A need to have a good understanding of supporting older people living in a nursing or residential care environment.

The Deputy Nurse Manager role is based at Hazlemere Lodge in Buckinghamshire. Hazlemere Lodge is a purpose built care home for 64 older people. The home has large, beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities and equipped with the latest technology. At Hazlemere we offer personalised care tailored to an individual’s specific needs.  We provide nursing care for 32 residents and care for up to 16 residents with dementia.
