Kitchen Fitter -  Corby Area - £29,000 to £33,500 pa + Over Time 

A fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Fitter to join a family run manufacturer of catering trailers.

The ideal Kitchen Fitter: 

• Able to work as part of a team and to contribute to improve efficiency and quality 
• Excellent planning and organisation, focusing on key priorities and working to deadlines 
• You use your own initiative, plan your own work and allocate time accordingly 
• Understand domestic 230v wiring systems (having this already would be handy) 
• Basic plumbing 
• Can read CAD drawings and interpret them accurately 
• Excellent numerical, written and spoken communication skills 
• Exceptional attention to detail • Open and honest – even when things go wrong 
• Willing to learn and a desire to achieve more 
• Accept change and charged with a growth mindset 
• To provide quality workmanship with a keen eye for detail 
• Positive attitude and willing to solve problems

The successful Kitchen Fitter:

• Be able to use woodworking machinery and metal machinery
• Have your own hand tools
• Be able to supply 2 x strong references and a portfolio of work demonstrating proven experience
• Have a driving licence

The responsibilities of a Kitchen Fitter: 

• Install worktops and cupboards into bespoke catering trailer and vehicle conversions
• Manufacture cupboards to suit design
• Co-ordinate all required services to make sure all services have their place (electrics, plumbing etc)

A family operated business located in Corby, Northamptonshire. The company was established in December 2006 where the owners of the business (and family) brought their skills together to lay the foundations and put in the groundwork on designing and manufacturing quality catering trailers and vehicle conversions for each individual client. They are a small close team who work well and strive to keep the majority of all manufacturing and fabricating processes in-house to ensure the materials used and workmanship is to high standards which they class as the 'norm'  expected on behalf of all  clients.
