Fyne Homes Ltd is a charitable, community based Registered Social Landlord owning and managing 1500 homes in Bute, Cowal, Mid-Argyll and Kintyre. Fyne Homes is also a registered Property Factor providing factoring services to around 400 homes and has active development and capital investment programmes.

HOUSING OFFICER - ROTHESAY
Salary GBP24,640.00

Reporting to the Housing Team Leader, the post holder will be responsible for providing an effective housing management service on the Isle of Bute, including responsibility for tenancy sustainment, proactive arrears and estate management and the efficient management of void properties.

The successful candidate will investigate and resolve reports or breaches of tenancy conditions including complaints of anti-social behaviour; assist in implementing the Tenant Participation strategy in area of operation; have shared responsibility for general day to day running of Fyne Homes office in Rothesay, and build effective partnerships with tenant and other customers, partners and suppliers to foster good working relationships and a customer centric approach to service delivery.

It is desirable that applicants either hold or are studying towards a relevant professional qualification. Applicants should have a good knowledge of the social housing sector including housing practice & procedures, Scottish Housing Law and be conversant with the SSHC and SHR Framework.

To be considered you must have front line customer service experience, good communication skills, and an ability to proactively manage priorities and workload with minimum supervision.
