Position: Stroke Association Support Coordinator - Communication Support
Location: Birmingham; Flexible location
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time, 21 per week
Salary: circa GBP13,500 per annum

About the role:
Would you like to work with us in a dynamic, leading stroke charity to support stroke survivors and families in the community with their life after stroke, developing effective communication strategies and rebuilding confidence?

About you:
With a background in health or social care you will have the ability to enable service users to identify their needs and desired outcomes; using strong assessment skills and a person centred approach to enable stroke survivors to maximise their recovery.

Utilising your excellent IT and organisational skills you will be able to manage your priorities to deliver a quality service and to manage the team of volunteers who support it.

The use of your own car and the ability to drive to fulfil the travel requirements of the role are essential.

You may have experience of the following: Stroke Recovery Service Coordinator, Support Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Health Care, Stroke Recovery, Third Sector, Charity, Advice, Administration etc.
