Internationally renowned manufacturer with a site in Cornwall seeks a experienced Production Manager to assist with its growing operation.

Your new role

Your new role at Production Manager will see you take on a wide ranging position that will see you effectively manage the sites manufacturing activities. You will be tasked with driving productivity and improving inefficiencies to ensure targets are exceeded in terms of output levels and financial costing. Your duties include (but are not limited to):

• Developing and monitoring production plans for optimum work load
• Developing a Continuous Improvement culture in the work place
• Utilise LEAN principles to minimise waste
• Monitor costing to ensure financial targets are met
• Team management
• Ensure H&S procedures are adhered to

What you'll need to succeed

To be chosen for the role you will need to have good experience as a Production manager in technical manufacturing (ideally non FMCG). You must have experience in team management and be able to demonstrate previous examples of rolling out continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. You must also be a natural leader with the confidence to work autonomously.

What you'll get in return

Role based in Cornwall. Salary GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 + Benefits DOE
