Live In Healthcare Assistant - busy and active Spinal Client

Could you help our spinal injury client fulfill his potential and live an independent life?

At HFH Healthcare, our mission is to be the most trusted and highly regarded provider of nurse-led specialist complex healthcare for adults and children in and around London. We are a fast-growing independent organisation, delivering high-quality, individually-tailored and flexible care through teams of highly trained, nurse led Health Care Assistants.

We provide care and rehabilitation for a wide variety of injuries, disabilities and long-term conditions to highly dependent patients in the comfort and security of their own homes, throughout London. Working in partnership with the NHS continuing healthcare teams and private teams, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support enables individual clients to remain in their home even when the level of health care required is highly complex.

We are currently recruiting for a Live-In Healthcare Assistant, to work with one of our clients in their own home in the Bromley area.

Our client suffered a spinal injury whilst playing sport. He is extremely active, drives and has a busy social life. He travels a lot in the UK and abroad.

We require a live in career to assist our client with all aspects of personal care, every day living tasks and accompanying him when travelling. The carer will have their own large bedroom/living area with TV, bathroom, kitchen and WiFi, within a friendly family home.

We are particularly interested in candidates with previous care experience, who may be;

  • experienced working with healthcare patients in their own home, a hospital or care home setting
  • rehabilitation specialists working with physical disabilities
  • a UK or Overseas nurses awaiting PIN, or PIN lapsed interested in working as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Nurses or Student Nurses undergoing training

The successful candidate will have strong English communication skills, a high caring orientation and the ability to empathise, and will be comfortable socialising with new people.

We provide our clients with a care team of the highest calibre. We have a team of qualified nurses who train all carers at our fully equipped training centre.

If you would like to join our friendly team at HFH, make a difference and be rewarded for your skills in healthcare, please apply by submitting your CV. For more information about the care we give our patients, and to find out more about working for us, visit our website www.hfhcare.co.uk

Due to the volume of applications received we are unable to give individual feedback, however all successful candidates will be contacted within 5 working days.
