The ideal candidate will have the confidence and knowledge as a teacher to be comfortable working as an individual or as part of a team. The school wants to see teachers who have not just high personal expectations but also the skill to transfer this way of thinking to their students.
You will be teaching as part of a positive English Department which is particularly popular across the school. Your will be charged with leading mixed-ability groups across KS3 and KS4 and can expect to meet eager learners who demonstrate exceptional maturity. With an expanding KS5 provision, opportunities to teach up to A Level could potentially present themselves at a later time. You will have high expectations and work-hard, which will inspire your pupils, ensuring they enter into their summer exams with confidence.
